Knowledge

Promoters of Hydrokrimp have been operating in the hydraulics sector since mid 60’s. From organizing and coordinating product realization, Hydrokrimp promoters established their own sophisticated manufacturing facility at Jamshedpur in Eastern India in 1980.

By its understanding of the reality of the product’s importance, Hydrokrimp has always been taking serious care and attention to the entire process of manufacturing Hydraulic Hose Assembly and Fluid Connectors, which require to withstand the critical service conditions of industrial, mining construction and other uses and perceived as one of the critical component in hydraulic systems by OEM/Systems manufacturers.

To achieve high level of quality with dimensional accuracy and smooth surface finish for fittings/fluid connectors, its state-of-the-art factory spanning over an area of 90,000 sq.ft. is equipped with numerically controlled Band Saw, precision CNC Lathes coupled with Bar Feeders of world repute, Multi-drill, ultrasonic crack detector and other equipments besides in-line electroplating plant with facility for anti-hazardous and environment friendly cyanide free coating.

The facilities at the well enclosed Assembly Section comprising of mechanised Hose handling, pneumatic operations of Hose cutting, skiving, coupling settings and electronically controlled Swaging ensure perfect Hose Assembly having positive lock with reinforcement and compatible connections with leak-proof and full flow characteristics.

Hydrokrimp is Seal of Assurance for reliability and high quality with complete in-house facility of production process and quality monitoring from metal to finished product. With its inherent culture of quality it has precision in application and control in product realization processes and product service.

Hydrokrimp assemblies are subjected to a specialized cleaning process to remove contaminations that cause over 75% hydraulic failure. They also undergo Vibration Test in-house, ensuring fittings compatibility and proper lock besides periodic Impulse Test at third party laboratory, which certifies successful compliance at One million cycles for multi spiral Hose Assembly.

Being an ISO 9000 series organization since 1997, presently certified to ISO 9001:2000 under surveillance of British Standards Institute (BSI), Hydrokrimp products come with in-built control on production processes and quality assurance systems.
